Natural energy for body and mind, made by MONK NUTRITION

We are a small family business from picturesque Zamagurie in Slovakia and the Monk Nutrition brand expresses much more than product labels. It expresses our love for pure nature, our respect for traditions and our desire for innovation. We were inspired by a monk, whose legend proves that it's possible to innovate, use the power of nature while preserving traditions.

Our respect for tradition leads us to produce our products honestly and cleanly, without unnecessary preservatives, colourings or flavour enhancers. Just so we can give them to our own children without worries. They teach us that abbreviations simply don't exist. That's why we only select the highest quality raw materials for our products, which must be grown and produced in a sustainable ecological way, as done by our ancestors.

Our love for nature is expressed by the environmentally friendly production in our own facilities developed by us so that we consume less energy and don't waste raw materials. We only order the amount raw materials that we can process and then sell products from them. Packaging materials are also produced in quantities that we can use efficiently without unnecessary waste.

We live with the Monk brand

We are looking for new innovative recipes that are inspired by "old grandma recipes". Local as well as recipes from around the world. After all, monks are all over the world. Many raw materials are imported from poorer countries, and the purchase of organic certified raw materials supports and motivates local farmers not to plunder rare rainforests and destroy local habitats and biodiversity. Farmers in these countries will also be paid fairly for their services and products, allowing them to grow their living standards and support their local economy.

We believe that our approach to responsible business will help to Slovakia, our native Zamagurie, as well as the people who live here and people on the other side of the globe.

We meet multiple standards

As a manufacturer, we pride ourselves on the quality of our products. We continuously improve our processes to deliver products of the highest available quality to our customers. Monk Nutrition products are manufactured to meet strict standards such as FSSC 22000 for food safety and quality, BIO for organic farming products, and Halal for purity standards required in countries such as the United Arab Emirates or Qatar. Each product, therefore, complies with at least one standard.
